Today's tablets area all about consuming content. You have in tablets the best way to interact with websites, documents and online applications, but what happens when you want to save stuff for later? BlackBerry PlayBook users can now download Scrapbook, a deceptively simple but useful (and fun) application for getting bits of information sorted together.

Much like a mini-version of Microsoft's Surface interactive table, Scrapbook accesses photos, documents and screenshots users have clipped on the PlayBook (tip: get a screenshot of anything on the PlayBook's screen by pressing both the + and - volume buttons.. It is simply astonishing to see how smooth and intuitive the touch controls for Scrapbook are.

Scrapbook allows you to glide photos smoothly onto a virtual clipboard where you can rotate and resize them to your hear's content. This is ideal for storing bits of information pertaining to a project, a mystery you might be solving or photos of your friends.

You can also fool around by adding text in the form of comic thought baloons, a cheesy but still pretty neat function. Highly recommended for any PlayBook user, Scrapbook is completely free.
