Better late than never, Samsung's finally unleashing its contribution to the rekindled Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 operating systems. The Samsung ATIV S is the 4.7-inch smartphone that takes the best features of Samsung's Galaxy S III and makes it available to Windows Phone. The Smart PC is the first convertible tablet/notebook Windows 8 device from Samsung.

Samsung ATIV smartphone and Smart PC are now available for reservation for existing Rogers customers on the National Reservation System. Customers need to sign into their account to access the Reservation System.

Rogers will offer the device for $150 on a three-year contract and $600 outright. As for the ATIV Smart PC, it is the first LTE-enabled  full-featured Windows 8 tablet that can double as a notebook and will compete with Microsoft's own Surface and the ASUS VivoTab RT, it will sell for $400 on contract and $700 outright. Rogers says the devices will be available in the coming weeks.
