PrimeSense is behind the original Kinect technology before Microsoft replace it with in-house tech for 3D body movement and mapping. Senior executives from PrimeSense were seen visiting Apple’s offices recently. The acquisition is seen to boost Apple’s living room TV offerings by building on the company’s 3D tech for gesture control.
