Rogers and BlackBerry hosted an event on this morning for select Rogers customers that reserved a BlackBerry Z10 on the Rogers Reservation System. February 5th marks the first day that BlackBerry Z10 devices go on sale in North America.

The highlights of the event were the activation of the first customer BlackBerry Z10 account in North America as well as a renewal of the strong partnership between BlackBerry and Rogers.

The BlackBerry Z10 sells for $149 on a three year contract (Bell has it on discount for $130) but sells for $650 outright. Canadians can get the Z10 at Rogers, Bell, Telus, Virgin, SasksTel, Fido and Koodoo. Wind Mobile currently has the Z10 on preorder with an attached unlimited data plan.
