TomTom launched the latest version of its navigation app for iPhone, iPad and iPad mini. With the update, customers can now save their personal app data – such as recent destinations and favourite POIs – in the cloud. This means that when they update their TomTom app in the future, they won’t lose any of their settings.

With the new update, the app automatically backs your settings up to iCloud. If drivers have multiple devices each device settings is backed up separately.

In addition, customers will get a new, up-to-date version of their map as part of TomTom’s FREE Lifetime Maps service. TomTom is the only navigation app provider to give its customers four free map updates every year. This ensures that TomTom customers always drive with the most accurate routing.

The TomTom Navigation app for iPhone, iPad and iPad mini v1.13 is available to download now from the Apple App Store for just $39.99 (Canada & U.S.)]. People already driving with the app can update for free.
