Nokia Lumia Windows Phone smartphones seem to be getting a lot of exclusives as of late. Last week Nokia launched their Music and Music + streaming service and today Foursquare has made it known that the latest version of the Windows Phone app will have augmented reality features but only on Nokia Lumia devices.

Here's what the Nokia blog has to say about the exclusive feature. "Nokia, Microsoft and Foursquare have been working closely together to create a redesigned Foursquare app that reflects the design of the Windows Phone platform.

While this new version of Foursquare is available for all Windows Phone 8 smartphones, there are some exclusives for those who own a Nokia Lumia.

On Nokia Lumia smartphones, such as the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 720, you can search for venues around you by switching to augmented reality mode by tapping on the map that sits across the top of the screen and then pressing the camera icon at the top."

The camera viewfinder will then show users you what’s right in front of them, in the real-world, and overlay Foursquare venues right on top of it.
