Cupertino, CA: We're up bright and early in Cupertino where Apple's headquarters, also known by fans as The Mothership, will play host to media for today's special event. The "This Should Brighten Everyone's Day, event keynote, which begins in a few hours at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, will be held in the auditorium here on campus. It is interesting to note that products that were launched here include the iPod, the iPod Hi-Fi as well as the iPhone 4S.

Being September, this is expected to be an iPhone and possibly iPod-focused event. It's been a year since the iPhone 5 and iPod line was refreshed, so there are some definite hardware updates expected. What's different this year is the updated iOS 7 operating system which was announced this June during WWDC 2013. iOS 7 brings the most dramatic visual and functional change to the seven-year old mobile OS that runs iPhones, iPods and iPads.
