CtrlTwit is a new Web service designed to help Twitter power users make the most out of the social network. The app can link your Twitter account to various other services so you can do things like adding a link to Pocket, checking Dropbox space, or subscribe to a YouTube channel.

You don’t have to sign up to the service to have Twitter perform any of the commands. An example given by Lifehacker includes adding a link to Pocket. What you just need to do is reply to the tweet with an interesting link with the command “@pocket save #ctrltwit” and you will initially be asked by Pocket to sign in. The app also currently supports Instagram, Foursquare, and Meetup.
