Hoping to avoid any more lawsuits with BlackBerry, Typo has redesigned its case for the iPhone 6. Dubbed Typo2, the keyboard case services as a physical/tangible keyboard for the iPhone. The new case is said to be modeled after iPhone’s software keyboard. The drawback to this keyboard case is that it covers the Touch ID capabilities of the device. But if you prioritized having a physical keyboard over Touch ID, this should be fine with you.

An iPad version of the keyboard is coming but an iPhone 6 Plus case seems to be out of the question. According to Typo’s CEO Laurence Hallier, the phone is too big that the case makes it top heavy. You can buy the iPhone 6 case from Typo’s site for US$99. The first pre-orders of the case have been sold out but the new pre-orders will ship by December 15.
