The traditions of the holiday season are what my family looks forward to each year. The decorations, the endless baking of treats and settling into a few peaceful moments watching our favourite shows and movies. Netflix Canada has some oldies (and goodies!) as well as a few new ones to put us all in the holiday spirit. So, between your crazy shopping and holiday parties, we hope you have a bit of time to enjoy a few moments of peace!

Here are just a few of what to watch this holiday season...and yes, there's something for everybody!

TRAILER PARK BOYS: LIVE AT THE NORTH POLE (Netflix Original): The Trailer Park Boys trick Ricky into going to Minneapolis by telling him it's in the North Pole. Once in Minneapolis the present a live Christmas themed show. Stars John Paul Tremblay, Robb Wells, Mike Smith.
DREAMWORKS HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM MADAGASCAR: Madagascar goes wild with holiday spirit in this set of Valentine's Day and Christmas-themed tales featuring everyone's favorite animal characters.
HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS: Inside a snowflake exists the magical land of Whoville. In Whoville, live the Whos, an almost mutated sort of munchkinlike people. All the Whos love Christmas, yet just outside of their beloved Whoville lives the Grinch. The Grinch is a nasty creature that hates Christmas, and plots to steal it away from the Whos which he equally abhors. Yet a small child, Cindy Lou Who, decides to try befriend the Grinch. Stars Jim Carrey, Taylor Momsen, Jeffrey Tambor and others.
CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS: With their daughter away, the Kranks decide to skip Christmas altogether until she decides to come home, causing an uproar when they have to celebrate the holiday at the last minute.
TIM BURTON'S THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS: Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but doesn't quite understand the concept. Stars Danny Elfman, Chris Sarandon, Catherine O'Hara
ARTHUR CHRISTMAS: How CAN Santa deliver billions of presents to the whole world in just one night? With an army of one million combat-style Field Elves and a vast, state-of-the-art control center under the ice of the North Pole! So how could this incredible operation have MISSED one child?! To Santa's young son, Arthur, it threatens to end the magic of Christmas. With retired Grandsanta, a rebellious young elf, an old sleigh and some untrained reindeer, Arthur sets out in a crazy mission to deliver the last present! ALL AMERICAN CHRISTMAS CAROL: A white-trash mom is visited by three ghosts intent on showing her a path to a brighter future. Stars Taryn Manning, Beverly D'Angelo, and even Meat Loaf?!
HOLIDAY ENGAGEMENT: Afraid to admit she was just dumped, a woman hires an actor to play her lawyer-boyfriend during a 4-day Thanksgiving weekend at her parents' house.
