Apple has reportedly sent out media invites for a March 9 event to be held in San Francisco's Yerba Buena Centre for the Performing Arts. Expected to be focused mainly on the Apple Watch, which was launched back in September last year, the event is also rumoured to be a launching point for updated MacBook Airs and quite possibly the anticipated 12-inch Retina MacBook Air or possibly a larger iPad.

While various aspects of the Apple Watch have already been revealed (two sizes, three model lines, various straps, sensors, apps and some functionality). We still have to hear about the pricing across model lines, how these will be sold in Apple Retail Stores and elsewhere as well as the latest on battery life, app ecosystem and various expected features. Feels like it has been forever since an Apple Event and this one is likely to be jam packed, specially after coming from Apple's groundbreaking earnings report last month.
