Using H&R Block Online

After having used various tax filing apps, I found using H&R Block's web-based software to be easy and intuitive. Designed for Canadians, one can choose between English and French applications, the program even lets you know what you should prepare beforehand as well as gives you the option to import last year's information from your TurboTax or UFile program which is very convenient for users of these paid services.

Most importantly, I found the visually intuitive  step-by-step instructions easy to follow and whatever early reservations I had about filing my own taxes online or through software, were slowly but surely put to rest. Best of all, I was able to file my taxes accurately using only my PC's browser without needing to install any software or plugins.
