We have the first look at the Microsoft Lumia devices thanks to a leak from @Evleaks. These devices are the Lumia 950 (Talkman) and Lumia 950 XL (Cityman). A nod to Nokia-designed Lumias of the past, these two variants of the Lumia 950 do look fresh.

Specs for the Talkman are a 5.2-inch (1440x2560) OLED display, a Snapdragon 808, 64-bit Hexa core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 20 Megapixel PureView camera, 3,000 mAh battery, wireless Qi charging capability and USB Type-C connector.

The Cityman should satisfy phablet and larger-format smartphone users with a 5.7-inch WQHD (1440x2560) OLED display, a Snapdragon 808, 64-bit Hexa core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 20 Megapixel PureView camera, triple LED Flash, 3,300 mAh battery, wireless Qi charging capability and USB Type-C connector. Hit jump for more surprises.

Also revealed via leak was the Cityman (left) with a USB Type-C accessory that can support the Continuum feature of Windows 10.

Continuum allows devices to expand the Windows experience depending on connected monitors and peripherals. This means that a new Lumia 950 can run desktop Windows when docked with a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Microsoft is expected to roll out a bunch of hardware announcements at a still unnanounced event.

Expected at that event, to be held in New York (possibly at their new flagship Microsoft Store at 677 Fifth Avenue, NY) are new Surface 4 tablets, new Microsoft Band 2 wearables and these Lumias as well as a variety of desktops, notebooks, 2-in-1's that are designed to maximize the features of Windows 10, which has been installed on 75 million devices.

Looks like the long drought for Lumia lovers is coming to an end, hopefully both of these exciting new Windows Phones come to Canada soon after the announcement.
