Taking its reputation for performance, comfort, and luxury to another level at this year's Canadian International Auto Show, Maserati will feature bespoke sports sedans that highlight all-new interiors by Ermenegildo Zegna.

The 2016 high performance sport sedans, full-size Quattroporte and the mid-size Ghibli sport sedan will feature custom silk interiors fashioned by Ermenegildo Zegna within the Auto Exotica exhibit. Designed in collaboration with the legendary Italian fashion brand, these silk interiors are specially outfitted and woven, much like a fine Italian suit. Available in three color variants (Nero, Cuoio and Rosso), this tailored interior option is now available on the 2016 sport sedans and will later extend to the full Maserati range.

Fresh for 2016, Maserati also introduces new enhanced safety and convenience features to its expanded range of sedans such as Start & Stop System, Blind Spot & Rear Cross Path Alert, Power Trunk Lid/Hands Free feature, premium Harman Kardon 900 watt audio system, Clari-Fi on Bowers & Wilkins sound system, SIRI Smart Personal Assistant and a new wheel collection.

“Following our long term investment in the Canadian marketplace, we had a strong calendar year in 2015 with significant gains in Canada. We have solid dealer partners in place that are equally as committed to helping us achieve our goals and are confident that closer proximity to our clientele will contribute to the Company’s continued success” comments Christian Gobber, President & CEO of Maserati Canada Inc. and Maserati North America, Inc.

Maserati surpassed 500 retail sales at the close of 2015, a new record across Canada. The brand has maintained solid sales momentum since 2013 following the powerful entrée into the High-E segment with its competitively priced Ghibli starting at $83,900 CAD. The all wheel drive Ghibli S Q4 sport sedan (MSRP $92,950 CAD) and the flagship Quattroporte S Q4 executive sports sedan (MSRP $121,400 CAD), both equipped with four wheel drive (Q4) technology are also gaining traction in the region.
