Ritual app ushers in Eats Week Toronto exclusively with Apple Pay at 550+Restaurants

Ritual, a social ordering app that connects users to their favourite local eateries, announced Eats Week Toronto -- an on-demand digital food festival at more than 550 of the city’s top fast-casual restaurants and cafes. During Eats Week Toronto, participating restaurants and cafes will feature signature items at up to 50 percent off when you order on Ritual and pay with Apple Pay. The special offers will start February 26th and conclude March 9th in Toronto.

“Think of it as an on-demand restaurant week,” said Ritual CEO Ray Reddy. “Using Ritual and Apple Pay, customers not only gain access to hundreds of deals at the best cafes and restaurants in the city, but have an easy and more secure way to get their food fast - with just a touch or a glance.”

A few of the 550+ participating restaurants include: Flock Rotisserie and Greens, Kupfert & Kim, Calii Love, Aroma, Fresh, South Street Burger and Fast Fresh.

Ritual Eats Week Toronto has partnered with Celebrity Chef Cory Vitiello, co-owner and operator of Flock Rotisserie and Greens, who will act as the face of the initiative. On February 26t h , Cory’s 6ix Picks , his top curated selections from Ritual Eats Week Toronto’s signature offerings, will be revealed.


Apple Pay is easy to set up and users will continue to receive all of the rewards and benefits offered by credit and debit cards. Online shopping in apps and on websites accepting Apple Pay is simple with Touch ID, or just double-click the side button and glance at your iPhone X to authenticate with Face ID. There’s no need to manually fill out lengthy account forms or repeatedly type in shipping and billing information with Apple Pay. When paying for goods and services on the go in apps or Safari, Apple Pay works with iPhone 6 and later, iPhone SE, iPad Pro, iPad (5th Generation), iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 3 and later.
