More details about Apple’s rumoured game subscription service. According to Bloomberg’s sources, the service will bundle paid games for a monthly fee but it would likely exclude “freemium” games where you need to make in-app purchases to unlock everything. Developers will reportedly get paid by Apple splitting subscription fees based on how often people play a studio’s game. So, in theory, it’ll reward those compelling, popular titles that issue out fresh updates for their games.

Rumour has it Apple might talk about its plans for this as soon as the March 25th event or we could hear more about this at WWDC in early June since Apple might want to focus on its upcoming news and streaming service on Monday.
