The wait for Samsung’s Galaxy Fold might soon be over. According to a report from Bloomberg, the company has supposedly fixed the issues plaguing the company’s first foldable device. According to people familiar with the matter, the phone is now in the final stages of producing the commercial version. The company has wrapped the protective film around the entire display and into the outer bezels of the device, which should prevent people from peeling the film off and rendering the device useless. Some reviewers of the Galaxy Fold learned the hard way that the film wasn’t supposed to be peeled off. Samsung has reportedly pushed the hinge slightly upward to have it flushed against the display. This should stretch the film further when the display is opened.

We’re not sure if Samsung addressed the other issues that journalists ran into with the Galaxy Fold. But we’re assuming that it has. This means it’ll be ready ahead of the holiday season. However, it seems the device won’t be ready by the August 7th event for the Galaxy Note 10.
