Just like its predecessor, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a pricey Porsche Design variant that's aptly called the Huawei Mate 30 RS. It carries the same specs as the Mate 30 Pro 5G with its 6.53-inch OLED display, Kirin 990 processor with embedded 5G, quad-camera setup, and 4,500mAh battery. It has a leather-bound rear panel that flanks a vertical glass stripe in the middle, which has the quad-camera setup. It comes in Black or Red.

The screen has the same curved 88-degree sides Huawei calls the Horizon Display. Its camera setup at the back has a 40MP primary camera with a 1/1.7-inch sensor and f/1.6 aperture, a new 40MP f/1.8 ultrawide camera with a 1/1.54-inch sensor, an 8MP 3x telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 3D Time of Flight sensor. The last sensor can be used for depth perception, augmented reality, and blur effects for both photo and video. In front, you get a 32MP shooter with support for 1080p video, and a 3D camera for secure fast unlock.

Fast charging is available both wired and wirelessly with this smartphone supporting 40W wired and 27W wireless charging. Huawei hasn't confirmed when or where the Porsche Design model will be available but said it'll retail for €2,095 (approx. CA$3,060) in a 12GB + 512GB configuration.
