As we continue to have virtual and hybrid events amid this pandemic, Zoom has acquired broadcast tools to help improve these experiences on its platform. The company bought two assets from Liminal, a startup that offers tools based on the Zoom SDK. One is the ZoomOSC, and the other is ZoomISO. Both add-ons can help you create and arrange your virtual and hybrid events.

The ZoomOSC allows the integration of Zoom with OSC controllers and media servers. Meanwhile, ZoomISO brings advanced controls so you can generate individual HD video output of participants in a Zoom call.

Two co-founders of Liminal, Andy Carluccio and Jonathan Kokotajlo, are also joining Zoom.
