OnePlus is all set to announce its new flagship next week on March 8. Expected to be called the OnePlus 9 series, the teaser site features a photo of the moon and the words "Something new is on the horizon."

The Verge mentioned the picture looks quite similar to the famous Earthrise photograph of the Apollo 8 mission, which was shot with a Hasselblad camera. The significance of that is that OnePlus is reportedly working with the 180-year-old Swedish camera maker for its upcoming phones.

And in a more obvious way, it shows that OnePlus is also getting into astrophotography with its next line of devices.

According to rumours, there will supposedly be three smartphones (OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R). That it will support wireless fast-charging at 45W, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset for the 9 and 9 Pro, and a Snapdragon 865 for the 9R/9 Lite. The OnePlus will supposedly have a flat 6.55-inch 120Hz 1080p display, while the 9 Pro is expected to have a 6.78-inch 120Hz 1440p screen.

Stay tuned for March 8.https://t.co/mprr4v8UbS pic.twitter.com/CQSop6Fg85
