Aside from introducing its first flip smartphone, OPPO also updated its book-style Find N during its recent OPPO INNO Day event. The OPPO Find N2 is thinner and lighter than its predecessor. It's a bit narrower at 72.6mm when closed (down from 73mm). Its thickness is 14.6mm when closed and 7.4mm when opened (down from 15.9mm and 8mm, respectively).

OPPO updated its Flexion hinge to reduce its parts from 138 to 100 and use advanced materials like carbon fibre and high-strength alloy. These factors help reduce the OPPO Find N2's weight to 233g. It also helps shrink the crease by 67%, making it less visible. It can hold any angle between 45 and 125 degrees. This allows things like shooting at the waist with the Hasselblad-inspired waist-level finder or using it as a tripod for other photo needs. You can place it on a desk for hands-free video calls or while watching your favourite shows, movies, and other content.

OPPO redesigned the cover display to feature trimmed bezels to accommodate the narrower body. Its ratio is slightly squatter at 17.7:9 (instead of 18:9). Despite that, the 5.54-inch cover display now supports a 120Hz refresh rate, is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and achieves a peak brightness of 1,350 nits. Meanwhile, the inner display maintains the 7.1-inch, squarish 9.6:9 aspect ratio. It features an LTPO panel, meaning the refresh rate can vary between 1Hz and 120Hz, depending on what you're doing. It gets brighter than the cover display, with a peak of 1,550 nits. However, both screens have a 480Hz touch sampling rate and support HDR10+. OPPO also added an anti-reflection film to help improve screen legibility in bright conditions.

OPPO brings back a triple camera setup for its main shooters. There's the primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX890, 48-megapixel IMX581 ultrawide, and a 32-megapixel IMX709 telephoto. It also has two identical 32-megapixel selfie cameras on the cover and inner displays. The company leverages its MariSilicon X chip for image processing and banks on its partnership with Hasselblad to bring features like Xpan mode and algorithms in the Professional mode that helps match the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution.

The battery on the OPPO Find N2 is the same as its predecessor at 4,520mAh, but it gets a faster 67W wired charging support that can fully charge this foldable in 42 minutes. The Find N2 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13 out of the box.

OPPO hasn't shared plans for an international release yet. But it's available in China in two configurations:

The Find N2 comes in three styles: matte white and minty green with glass backs and a black option with a vegan leather cover.
