One of the new products Chinese brand Honor introduced at MWC 2022 is a pair of unassuming earbuds. But what makes the Earbuds 3 Pro earbuds unique is their built-in temperature monitoring technology. As we live through this pandemic, monitoring our temperature has become essential. And with infrared ear thermometers widely available, it isn't surprising that this feature exists.

You can tap the Honor Earbuds 3 Pro thrice to activate temperature monitoring. They offer continuous measurement and even an "abnormal temperature alert." But the company wanted to emphasize that the feature is "not for any medical purpose." It is more for demonstration purposes until it's been brought into compliance with related regulations.

These €199 (around CA$281 converted) buds also get features like adaptive active noise cancellation, an 11mm dynamic driver with improved sound details and bass, and up to 24 hours of battery life with the charging case and fast charging (offering two hours of music playback with just a five-minute charge).
