The all-new Polaroid I-2 instant camera works to combine the timeless charm of instant film with cutting-edge technology. The company wanted to make a "high-end Polaroid camera," and the I-2 is a result of four years of hard work and innovation.

What makes the I-2 stand out is its continuous autofocus three-lens system, which features the sharpest lens ever seen in a Polaroid instant camera. This lens was developed in collaboration with Japanese optical engineers. The goal was to produce stunning image quality and depth of field thanks to its wide aperture. But the real magic happens with its LiDAR (light detection and ranging) sensor, which accurately measures the distance to the subject and auto-adjusts the lens for perfect focus, even in low-light situations.

The Polaroid I-2 also gives you full manual control over your instant photography. With a large, bright viewfinder and an integrated display, you can adjust shutter speed and aperture size, and choose from six shooting modes directly on the camera.

This Polaroid camera is compatible with i-Type, 600, and SX-70 films, ensuring you can find a film that suits your style and vision. Plus, the built-in lens thread mount supports 49mm filters, allowing you to experiment with different effects and styles.

The Polaroid I-2 is made from high-quality materials and retains the distinctive Polaroid look while adding modern elements. The camera’s exterior is built around the lens and manual controls, enhancing the ease of use and user experience.

Polaroid has equipped the I-2 with Bluetooth connectivity to bring it into the digital age. This means you can easily update your camera's firmware and have complete remote control via the accompanying app.

The Polaroid I-2 instant camera is available through polaroid.com and additional retailers starting at US$599.99 (around CA$815) for the camera itself, with the option to upgrade to the Polaroid I-2 Travel Set for US$669.98 (~CA$910), which includes the camera, premium case, and two packs of film.
