Remember flip phones? HMD, the company that makes Nokia phones, is capitalizing on '90s nostalgia with two unique collaborations. First came the Barbie phone, and now they've teamed up with Heineken and Bodega for the aptly named Boring Phone.

Forget the endless apps and social media feeds. The Boring Phone is all about disconnecting to reconnect. This translucent flip phone is designed for one thing: enjoying good times with friends, minus the digital distractions.

Don't expect to find the Boring Phone on store shelves. This limited edition device (only 5,000 made!) will be available through social media giveaways in the UK, with other regions following later. It's a marketing play by Heineken, but a fun one nonetheless.

The Boring Phone boasts basic functionality – calling, texting, and a delightful dose of retro charm. You'll find a 2.8-inch display, a 0.3MP camera, and even a headphone jack (remember those?). Navigation? Text a friend! Feeling nostalgic? Play some Snake, a nod to HMD's Nokia roots.

Can't snag a Boring Phone? Fear not! Heineken is launching a "boring" app in June that promises to help you achieve a similar digital detox on your smartphone. Sign up on their website to stay tuned.

Overall, the Boring Phone is a clever marketing campaign that taps into our desire for simpler times. It's a reminder that sometimes, the most fun comes from putting the phone down and connecting with the people in front of us.
