Exciting updates are rolling out for Meta Quest. Livestreamers can rejoice—broadcasts will now continue uninterrupted even when you take the headset off. This means smoother transitions and a more professional stream.

For Quest 3 owners, the update brings even more. You can now leverage the power of an external microphone via the USB-C port for crystal-clear voice chat and content creation. Additionally, the passthrough mixed reality feature receives a resolution and image quality boost, making the blend between the virtual and real worlds even more seamless.

But the biggest news for Quest 3 users might be the experimental "Use Apps While Lying Down" option. Found in Settings under Experimental, this feature lets you enjoy immersive media and games in a relaxed, supine position. Simply hold the menu button to reset your view after lying down and get comfortable!

While this update opens the door to comfy VR experiences, it's important to note that looking around in the virtual world might require more effort while lying down. Nonetheless, the ability to kick back and enjoy VR entertainment is a welcome addition for Quest 3 users.
