That is why their keynote at CES 2012 was met with great expectation and excitement and for the most part, Sir Howard Stringer and his crew, including an out of place Will Smith (better than Ed Begley's super awkward appearance in Panasonic's keynote) made an impact with the hard to please crowd.

Rakuten completes acquisition of Kobo

 Kobo Inc. today announced the successful acquisition of all its outstanding shares by Rakuten, Inc. for US $315 million. The acquisition has been completed following customary closing conditions, including approval under the Investment Canada Act. Kobo’s management team will remain with the company, which will continue to be headquartered in Toronto.
