Apple Park opens doors to its Visitor’s Center

If you find yourself in Cupertino and want to visit Apple Visitor’s Center, you can now. The tech giant just opened the doors to the center, letting you come drop by and visit the campus as well as buy souvenirs and snacks. The Visitor Center itself is designed with a look that matches the rest of the campus from its staircases, stone walls, terrazzo floors, down to a cantilevered carbon fiber roof. You’ll get to see a 3D model of the Park itself that also offers an augmented reality experience accessible through iPads placed there. As expected, there is a store inside the Visitor’s Center where you can buy everything from Apple products to souvenirs that range from T-shirts, to onesies, to playing cards. There is also a café there in case you get hungry from all the exploring and shopping.

While this part of the campus is accessible to the public, the rest of it isn’t. So if you want to see the rest of the Apple Park, you can head up to the roof terrace to see the main building and the landscaping surrounding it. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, it opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m., while on Sundays, it is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Apple starts hiring staff for the Apple Park Visitor Center

Apple's original plans for the Visitor Center also feature underground parking and a rooftop terrace overlooking the main campus

Apple is busy getting its new campus ready for its official launch. Gearing up for the big day, Apple has begun hiring staff for the Apple Park Visitor Center. They’ve started off with the looking for a supervisor and manager for the “Visitor Center Caffè,” which will be the first on-campus restaurant to open. The Visitor Center Caffè isn’t exactly part of the main campus but is located at 10700 N. Tantau Ave., which is right across the street. According to Apple’s original plans, the building housing the restaurant will also have the Apple Store.
