Chatr brings Talk, Text & Data plans to 10 new markets

Outside of the seven current locations the carrier is available on, Chatr is bringing its Talk, Text & Data plans to 10 more locations. It’s coming to Barrie, Halifax, Kelowna, Kingston, Peterborough, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Victoria, Windsor, and Winnipeg. They join Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal, Southwestern Ontario, Toronto, and Vancouver in the list of zones that have access to all services available to these plans. These services include unlimited Canada-wide Talk, unlimited Canada, US, and international Text, and data with a choice of 3G speed allotment of up to 6GB.

Motorola launches new Moto E entry-level smartphone now featuring LTE and Lollipop

Motorola launched an updated and redesigned version of its most affordable Moto E smartphone by bringing Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and LTE to the entry-level. It is expected to be available for about $150 contract-free next month at Koodo, TELUS and Videotron. It will also be available at chatr wireless, MTS and WIND this spring. Its US price is $119.

Release: Rogers launches chatr budget prepaid mobile carrier

chatr wireless today announced its entry into the Canadian market offering Canadians unlimited talk and text on a trusted network. chatr will offer cost certainty with zone-based plans including unlimited talk for just $35 per month and unlimited talk and text for just $45 per month, without term contracts. The service will be available in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa and soon in Montreal with future plans for other Canadian markets.
