Stephen King’s ‘IT’ remake gets first trailer

If the trailer is any indication, we’re in for a scary ride with the remake of Stephen King’s IT. There was a lot of drama behind the scenes when it came to bringing this project together. The film was originally set to be adapted by True Detective’s first season director Cary Fukunaga. But production trouble had him leaving the project in the summer of 2015. The adaptation then fell into the hands of Andrés Muschietti, who directed horror hit Mama. And here we get a first look into the first of the two-part film. From the get-go you see deviations from the original and we hope this makes it a worthwhile remake. IT is set to come out in September 2017.
