Could ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ possibly make its way to VR?

There might be a possibility of this happening, if hints inside the companion app are to be believed. Rockstar Games fan site Rockstar Intel found inside the files for the app multiple parameters that hint the game could make its way to the PC and possibly virtual reality (Oculus, specifically). While this discovery doesn’t necessarily translate to the game making its way to these platforms, it does suggest that Rockstar Games might be considering bringing the game to VR. With Red Dead Redemption 2 being one of the Rockstar’s games to have full first-person support, it won’t be to difficult to imagine the game as a VR game.

You’ll need at least 99GB of hard drive space for ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’

It might be time to clear some space on your PS4 or Xbox One if you’re waiting for Red Dead Redemption 2 to come out. Rockstar Games support website showed you’d need at least 99GB of space to accommodate the game—whether you get a digital or physical copy of Red Dead Redemption 2. On the PS4, you’ll need 99GB if you install it via disc. If you get it digitally, you’ll need an extra 50GB for the installation process (which will be freed up once the game is installed). Now for the Xbox One, whether via disc or digitally, you’ll need 107GB of space. Those who pre-ordered the game will be able to start the pre-load process today at 12 a.m. ET. The game officially launches on October 26.

There will be over 50 unique weapons for ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’

There will be many ways you can kill things in the upcoming open-world western game Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar Games just tweeted that there will be over 50 different weapons to choose from. The first game, Red Dead Revolver, had 28 different weapons. Meanwhile, Red Dead Redemption had 36, but this came after the DLC. And as Comicbook.com speculates, if Red Dead Redemption 2 takes the route of adding weapons post-launch, we might get over 60 weapons when it comes out—and this might just be from the single player campaign. Red Dead Online might have more.

If you want to read what Red Dead Redemption 2 is about, here’s the official synopsis: "America, 1899. The end of the Wild West era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him." Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch on October 26 via the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
