Google Fit is looking to become a more holistic approach to health tracking with its new features. The app now works with more external apps and introduces new workout and exercise tracking features to Android Wear devices. The new nutrition and sleep apps it works with include MyFitnessPal, Fatsecret, Lifesum, and LoseIt. It can also now track your sleep with Sleep as Android, Xiaomi Mi Band and Mi Bad 1S, Basis Peak, and Sony Smartband 2.

You can now also see real-time stats for your runs, walks, and rides on your phone. Google Fit can record your speed, pace, route, elevation, among others. Strength training tracking has also been added to Android Wear. It can monitor your push-ups, sit-ups, and squats and record these all in the Fit app.
