If I was being honest, the first season of Stranger Things scared the heck out of me. But it seems the Netflix show is just touching the surface there. It seems things are about to get a lot darker for season 2. At least according to Finn Wolfhard a.k.a. Mike. He told Emmy Magazine that the new season will be “a lot more horror oriented.” How apt since the show is dropping on Halloween this year.

In the second season, we can also expect to see more insight into all of the characters, instead of putting most of the focus on Mike and Will and their families. We’ll get to learn more about Dustin and Lucas this time around. As Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) says, “The great thing about this season is you get to see insights into each character on their own. You’re going to see a lot more into the lives of how the characters are coping with what’s been going on… They’re all very emotionally scarred. They feel alone because their best friend is back and he’s not acting like their best friend anymore. He’s changed.” How intriguing. I’m definitely excited for season 2.
