The last pair of devices Samsung launched are a couple of smartwatches. We aren't just getting a Galaxy Watch5 but a Watch5 Pro, too. The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 is the more casual model. It has an armour aluminum case paired with a sports band. Unlike its predecessor, though, the rotating bezel is gone. There are two sizes: 44mm and 40mm.

Without the rotating bezel, it has an edge-to-edge screen. It can still track your health data with the help of sensors like its three-in-one bioactive sensor, temperature sensor, barometer, accelerometer, and more. You can get information on length and quality of sleep, heart rate, stress level, blood oxygen, ECG, and more. The Galaxy Watch5 gets 284mAh (40mm) and 410mAh (44mm) batteries, which are 13 percent larger than their predecessors.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro is built for those who want to use their smartwatch for more outdoor activities. It has a tough sapphire crystal glass like the Galaxy Watch5, but it gets an extra titanium case for durability. It's attached to your wrist via a D-buckle sport band.

Its GPS allows you to head out for your hike, walk, or run outdoors. You can share your route through the Samsung Health app. It also offers turn-by-turn directions and a Track Back feature when you want some help getting back where you came from.

Both models run on Google's new Wear OS 3.5 skinned with Samsung's One UI Watch 4.5, 1,5GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and Exynos W920 processor. They have full-colour always-on displays and come with Bluetooth and LTE network options. They get an IP68 rating, which allows you to submerge the watch underwater of up to 1.5 metres in under 30 minutes, and a 5ATM rating, which means you can get 50 metres deep before the Galaxy Watch5 series experience issues.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 40mm model comes in Graphite, Silver, and Pink Gold for a price starting at $349.99, while its 44mm version comes in Graphite, Sapphire, and Silver. The Galaxy Watch5 Pro is available in two shades: Black Titanium and Gray Titanium, with a starting price of $559.99.
