FIFA is making its long-awaited return to the digital football arena through an exclusive partnership with Netflix Games. Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the streaming giant will launch a "newly reimagined" football simulation game developed by Delphi Interactive. This move marks FIFA's first major foray back into simulation gaming following its high-profile split from Electronic Arts in 2022.

The upcoming title is designed for accessibility, prioritizing "joyful" and "approachable" gameplay that allows anyone to jump in regardless of skill level. Built specifically for the Netflix ecosystem, the game will be available at no extra cost to members. In a departure from traditional console requirements, fans will be able to play solo or online with friends on select TVs using their smartphones as controllers, or directly on mobile devices via the Netflix app.
