LG Electronics announced the LG Sound Suite, a modular home audio ecosystem headlined by the H7 soundbar. LG claims the system is the first in the world to feature Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. Debuting ahead of CES 2026, the system allows users to place wireless speakers anywhere in a room, regardless of layout or furniture obstacles, while the technology automatically calibrates the sound for an optimized immersive experience.
The suite offers scalability with 27 possible configurations, ranging from a standalone soundbar to a full 13.1.7-channel home theatre. Users can mix and match components like the M7 and M5 surround speakers or the W7 subwoofer. While the system integrates seamlessly with LG’s 2026 and select 2025 premium TVs, the H7 soundbar can also act as a "lead device" to bring FlexConnect capabilities to any television via HDMI.
At the heart of the H7 is the α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3, the same powerful chip found in LG's flagship OLED TVs. This processor uses deep learning to power features like Sound Follow, which uses ultra-wideband technology to shift the audio "sweet spot" based on where a listener is sitting. Additionally, all components are built with high-performance Peerless speaker units, ensuring that the system’s physical acoustic quality matches its advanced AI processing.
