Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7, a compact flip phone featuring a significantly enhanced, edge-to-edge FlexWindow. This 4.1-inch Super AMOLED display is now larger, brighter (2,600 nits), and smoother (120Hz), transforming the cover screen into a fully interactive hub for messages, music, and high-res selfies without unfolding the phone.
"Galaxy Z Flip7 is proof that big intelligence can come in a small, pocket-sized form factor," said TM Roh, president and acting head of DX at Samsung Electronics, highlighting the device's Galaxy AI capabilities integrated directly into the FlexWindow. This includes Gemini Live for voice searches and real-time assistance via camera, along with personalized daily updates and quick app access.
When unfolded, the Z Flip7 reveals a vibrant 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is Samsung's slimmest Flip yet, measuring just 13.7mm when folded and weighing 188g. Despite its sleek profile, it boasts enhanced durability with a re-engineered Armor FlexHinge, Armor Aluminum frame, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 also features a 50-megapixel main camera with improved Nightography or night photography features, and the series' largest 4,300mAh battery. Powered by the 3nm Exynos2500 processor, it promises robust performance.
