You might feel a bit of deja vu looking at the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. But that isn't surprising. The Galaxy Tab S11 series retains a similar look to its recent predecessors but ditches its midsized 12.4-inch Plus model.

The Ultra is a 14.6-inch slate featuring a Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 1600 nits of peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and an anti-reflective coating on the screen. This tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, featuring up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of expandable storage via microSD.

Samsung dropped one of the selfie cameras for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and now offers a similar 12-megapixel front-facing sensor as the Galaxy Tab S11. The rear of the tablet still gets a dual camera setup, with a 13-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Despite its large display, this tablet has a slim and svelte profile at 5.1mm thin and weighs 692g. It features a glass front with an aluminum unibody construction and an IP68 rating. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has a large 11,600mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.

As with other new Samsung devices, you can access Galaxy AI features, including Drawing Assist, Writing Assist, and Google's AI-powered features like Gemini Live and Circle to Search. You get access to DeX features, including improved Extended Mode.

The S Pen for this tablet also drops Bluetooth support, which means you can't do air gestures or have it serve as a remote for the camera. The upside is that the smaller S Pen now docks at the side of the tablet, and you no longer need to charge the stylus.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra comes in grey and silver. In Canada, you can only get the Wi-Fi model with 256GB and 512GB storage options at $1,599.99 and $1,749.99, respectively.
