If you're not quite sure what to watch on Netflix and are open to suggestions, Netflix is beta testing a native AI-powered voice search feature for a small subset of users in the US. Those who have access to the feature need to press the Netflix button on the remote to get a few mood-based suggestions, such as "I need a good cry." It also has an Ask button to enable the AI voice search, where you can speak naturally and ask for recommendations. The app will then flash the recommended films and shows to you. However, there is no voice output from Netflix's side.

Digital Trends noted the feature does not use your viewing history, so do not expect the recommendations to be personalized. The feature also currently only works on Chromecast with Google TV and TCL Google TV devices. It seems Netflix wants to make sure your queries stay within its app, rather than being suggested as content from competing platforms. It's unclear if there would be a wider rollout of the feature.
