The Google Pixel 5 was first teased by Google when it launched the Pixel 4a in August. But now, the handset is official, and an unboxing video has already surfaced online ahead of its release. In Canada, the handset will cost $799 and will be available starting October 29.

The unboxing video shows the phone itself, charger, USB-C to USB-C cable, and USB-C to USB-A converter.

It gives us a better look at the Pixel 5's 6-inch 2,340 x 1,080 OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and its 8-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera.

We also get a peek at the aluminum back, fingerprint sensor, and square camera housing with the 12.2-megapixel primary shooter and 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor.

The Pixel 5 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, 8GB of RAM, Android 11, 128GB non-expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh battery.

The Pixel 5 is available in Just Black and Subtle Sage. And if you get the handset, you get a three-month subscription to Stadia Pro and YouTube Premium, 100GB storage in Google One, and Google Play Pass. Google launched the Pixel 5 alongside the Pixel 4a 5G, Nest Audio, and Chromecast with Google TV.
