OnePlus has officially launched its newest flagship, the OnePlus 15, in Canada, positioning it as a powerhouse device with exceptional endurance and cutting-edge performance.
It is available in two main configurations, starting at a competitive $1,299.99 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model and available in Infinite Black. Power users can opt for the enhanced $1,399.99 version, which bumps the memory to 16GB RAM and storage to 512GB, and comes in two other finishes outside of Infinite Black, namely Sand Storm and Ultra Violet.
The phone is one of the first devices globally to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This promised top-tier performance is matched by the phone's single most defining feature: a 7,300mAh Silicon NanoStack battery. This massive cell promises extended usage—up to two days—and supports rapid power-ups with 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, all while promising over 80% battery health after four years.
Content consumption and creation are handled by a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, featuring a 165Hz maximum refresh rate optimized for mobile gaming. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the versatile rear camera system, which utilizes a triple 50-megapixel sensor setup for consistent, high-resolution results across all lenses: wide, ultra-wide, and a periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom.
Beyond its internal power, the OnePlus 15 is built to be extremely durable, boasting a quartet of resistance ratings (IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K), making it highly resilient against dust, water immersion, and even high-pressure water jets. The software experience is handled by OxygenOS 16, which features deep integration with Google Gemini for personalized artificial intelligence-powered assistance, complemented by the new physical Plus Key for customizable shortcuts and quick access to smart features like audio control and Mind Space capture.
