Nintendo revealed the full sports lineup for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, scheduled to launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 system on Oct. 22. Set on the popular destination of Wuhu Island, the new title introduces intuitive motion-controlled gameplay across 12 distinct events available for both solo and multiplayer competition, both locally and online. The active roster includes two brand-new additions: Thumb Wrestling, where players aim to pin opponents using a charging mechanic, and Skateboarding, which utilizes the Joy-Con 2 controller's mouse functionality to execute rail grinds, slides, and aerial tricks.
The game also brings back ten fan-favourite sports, updated for the new console hardware. Players can take to the water with Power Cruising, take to the skies in Prop Plane, or test their skills on land through Archery, Bowling, Table Tennis, Boxing, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, and Golf. You can even use an in-game Jump Rope activity to warm up before jumping into competitive play. The Nintendo Switch Sports Resort's digital version retails for CA$69.99 in Canada and CA$84.99 for the physical variant.
