Samsung officially introduced its new artificial intelligence-powered "intelligent eyewear" at Galaxy Unpacked in London, marking a major step to expand the Galaxy ecosystem into screenless, hands-free wearables. Developed in collaboration with global eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, the lightweight frames merge high-fashion aesthetics with wearability, offering options ranging from a slim black silhouette to a classic brown upswept brow line.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform, the compact device houses a built-in camera for real-time visual contextual awareness. These glasses boast up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge, plus an additional seven full charges with the charging case.

Built in collaboration with Google, the eyewear integrates Gemini AI to deliver multi-modal assistance without requiring users to look down at a screen. Wearers can capture whiteboards or meeting notes to organize them in Samsung Notes automatically, translate foreign languages in real time, summarize lengthy messages, and share live point-of-view camera feeds during calls. Controlled through intuitive touch interactions on the frame or simple voice gestures, Samsung's new intelligent eyewear aims to bring contextual AI assistance naturally into work, travel, and daily routines.
