LEGO is giving us a piece of a classic console with its first-ever 1,911-piece PlayStation set. It features the distinctive grey silhouette of the original console and comes with its iconic controller.
Made for adult builders, the LEGO PlayStation model is a near 1:1 scale replica of the console at 6 centimetres high, 26 centimetres wide, and 19 centimetres deep. The set lets you plug the brick-built controller into the console and includes functional Open and Power buttons.
Hidden inside the set are buildable dioramas of two classic games: a mini track from Gran Turismo and a scene from Ape Escape. You can keep these sets hidden inside the console or display them alongside the PlayStation setup.
LEGO Insiders get first dibs on the PlayStation set from October 1, while general availability will be from October 4. The LEGO PlayStation retails for $249.99 in Canada.
