LEGO debuts first PlayStation set

LEGO is giving us a piece of a classic console with its first-ever 1,911-piece PlayStation set. It features the distinctive grey silhouette of the original console and comes with its iconic controller.

Made for adult builders, the LEGO PlayStation model is a near 1:1 scale replica of the console at 6 centimetres high, 26 centimetres wide, and 19 centimetres deep. The set lets you plug the brick-built controller into the console and includes functional Open and Power buttons.

Mando’s N-1 Starfighter gets LEGO treatment for Star Wars Day

Ahead of Star Wars Day on May 4, LEGO teased the launch of the newest member of the Ultimate Collector Series, The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter. The 1,809-piece model recreates the sleek, silver-hulled spacecraft with what LEGO described as "advanced building techniques" and Drum Lacquered silver pieces. The set includes Mando and Grogu minifigures and an adjustable stand with dual orientation. So, you can decide whether to display its profile or a head-on view for an "action-ready stance."

Starting today, May 1, the set will be available for LEGO Insiders, while everyone else can pick it up starting May 4. It retails for $349.99 in Canada.

LEGO expands 'Mario Kart' series with new Luigi & Mach 8 set

LEGO is building up its Mario Kart series, with the launch of the new Luigi & Mach 8 set. The 2,234-piece model is designed for builders and collectors ages 18 and up and costs $249.99 in Canada. It's available for preorder now and will come in stores and online starting April 1.

This large-scale, buildable model comes with a Luigi figure that has a moving head and arms. The Mach 8 kart features a movable steering wheel that actually turns the front tires, while spinning the back wheels makes a "flame" in the exhaust pipe spin. It comes with a special base that lets you prop the kart up as if Luigi is drifting around the corner. However, you can also take it off the stand and roll the model across the floor, if you want.

Calling all LEGO lovers who are also F1 and McLaren fans! The LEGO Group replicated the 2025 World Constructors' and World Drivers' Championships car in a 1:8-scale model. The LEGO Technic McLaren MCL39 F1 Car includes 1,675 pieces and features a working Drag Reduction System in the rear spoiler, along with functional steering, suspension, gearbox, and a working differential. Its VG engine is even visible when the cover is removed. This LEGO set is designed for both adult builders and motorsports enthusiasts. In Canada, it retails for $299.99 and will be available for sale starting March 1.
