We might see the new MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro with the latest Apple silicon released this week. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, we should expect the upgraded tablet, a new Vision Pro with a redesigned strap, and a base model MacBook Pro—all powered by the Apple M5. Apple isn't expected to hold an event. Instead, it'll just have online announcements like they did last year.
Rumours about the M5 MacBook Pro have been inconsistent about the release date. Some expected an early 2026 release, while others mentioned the typical fall launch we are talking about now. Gurman also previously mentioned the 2026 release for the upgraded laptop. However, he is now saying the company is "nearing mass production" for the device.
However, he also referenced that the entry-level laptop might be the only model unveiled as Apple stores are reportedly running low on their stock of the M4 MacBook Pro, but still have enough of the M4 Pro and M4 Max variants. He also previously noted that the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors would not be "ready in volume" until early next year.
