Apple's iPad Pro models are expected to gain professional apps currently available only on macOS. Reports claim that Apple is bringing its recently acquired professional image editing app Pixelmator Pro to iPadOS.
Apple's 2027 iPad Prois expected to be a lot cooler, literally. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to integrate a vapour chamber into the tablet. In theory, that should help these Pro devices perform much more efficiently, particularly when running resource-hungry tasks. According to Gurman, the 2027 iPad Pro will also sport Apple's new M6 SoC, which is expected to be manufactured on TSMC's 2nm process.
We might see the new MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro with the latest Apple silicon released this week. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, we should expect the upgraded tablet, a new Vision Pro with a redesigned strap, and a base model MacBook Pro—all powered by the Apple M5. Apple isn't expected to hold an event. Instead, it'll just have online announcements like they did last year.
The deep-seated disgust many felt towards Apple's latest iPad Pro commercial is understandable. Especially considering the piano's potential lifespan dwarfs the fleeting relevance of a new gadget.
The message we got was this: Apple, a tech giant, is crushing everything beautiful and human in favour of a sleek, but ultimately disposable, device. They wanted us to think about the device's thinness—one of its biggest selling points—but it came at a cost of what looked like we're going to destroy everything else you use for creativity and expression.
