Report: Apple to launch iPad versions of Pixelmator Pro, MainStage, Compressor, Motion

Source: Apple

Apple's iPad Pro models are expected to gain professional apps currently available only on macOS. Reports claim that Apple is bringing its recently acquired professional image editing app Pixelmator Pro to iPadOS.

It will be joined by Logic Pro's companion app for live performances, MainStage, as well as the Final Cut Pro companion apps, Compressor and Motion. The former compresses audio and video files, while the latter helps with creating 2D/3D titles, transitions, and effects.

It's unclear when these apps are rolling out and whether Apple will charge the same amount for the software.
