Building on the momentum of over 300 million Fire TV devices sold globally, Amazon officially rebranded its first-party television hardware as Amazon Ember. To mark this new era, the company unveiled its first-ever lifestyle television: the Amazon Ember Artline. Designed to cater to the premium lifestyle market, the Artline is an ultra-thin 4K QLED display featuring a matte, anti-reflective screen. The TV is built specifically to showcase the Fire TV Ambient Experience, turning the largest screen in the home into a digital canvas for over 2,000 pieces of free art or personal photo galleries.
The Ember Artline distinguishes itself with deep AI integration and "Omnisense" technology, which uses motion sensors to automatically wake the display when someone enters the room and power down when they leave. A standout feature for interior design enthusiasts is a new AI-powered recommendation engine; by uploading four photos of their room, users receive personalized art suggestions that match their specific décor and style. The device also features far-field microphones for hands-free interaction with Alexa+, allowing users to generate custom slideshows or control smart home devices through natural conversation.
To ensure the TV blends seamlessly into any home, Amazon is offering 10 interchangeable magnetic frames in a wide palette, including finishes like Walnut, Teak, Fig, and Pale Gold. The Amazon Ember Artline is scheduled to launch later this spring in Canada, Germany, the US and the UK. It will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch models, with prices starting at $899.
