‘The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening’ is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 20th

If you were waiting for a Legend of Zelda game, we’re getting one soon. Nintendo announced at E3 2019 that The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will be coming to the Switch on September 20th. This game is a remake of the classic 1993 Game Boy classic of the same name. The game gets a new mode that will allow you to build and design your own dungeon to explore with pre-made rooms and items. Yoshi even makes an appearance in the game as well. You can check out the gameplay in the 30+ minute clip above.

Nintendo delays the release of ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ to March 2020

Animal Crossing fans might not like this Nintendo announcement. The company revealed at its E3 2019 presentation that the release of the game on the Switch will be pushed back to March 20, 2020. It was originally supposed to launch this year. Nintendo said in a statement, “We must ask you to wait a little later than we thought.”

What we get for now is a first look at the game. The game is set on a deserted island where you work to build a home and life for your character. It looks like animal neighbours will move in as you clean up the island. Crafting seems to be a part of this game as players work to make their own tools and items.

‘The Witcher 3’ gets a new lease on life on the Nintendo Switch

If you liked The Witcher 3 and own a Nintendo Switch, then you’re in for a treat. A “complete edition” of the game is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. This means the game’s two expansions—“Hearts of Stone” and “Blood and Wine” are coming to the portable console. CD Projekt Red didn’t specify when the game is making its way to the console, but it shouldn’t be long before you get to play this open-world, role playing game.

‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ is getting a sequel

At the end of its E3 presentation, Nintendo made a surprise announcement. There will be a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The developer showed off a teaser for the game, which you can see above. It shows the return of the Link and Zelda from the previous title exploring a cave. There they encounter what looks like the corpse of Ganondorf beneath Hyrule Castle. What we don’t know is when the game is coming out.
