SlideShow: Polaroid's iM1836 Smart Camera has an Android OS, looks like Nikon 1

Here's something different. Polaroid has released the iM1836  advanced ILC (Interchangeable Lens Camera) running on Android. That means Instagram and a host of other photo apps plus WiFi availability off the bat. It does resemble Nikon's 1 ILC in shape and design. Hit jump to find out more.

CES 2013: Sony's 5 new CyberShot models focus on 'shoot and share.'

Sony Canada’s newest Cyber-shot compact cameras deliver a range of powerful, high-end capabilities at attractive prices. Five new models – WX80, W730, W710, TF1 and H200 cameras – share a variety of new features for the Cyber-shot line including a new Advanced Flash which boosts the cameras sensitivity and extends the effective range of the flash.  This is especially useful in low-light situations like party shots, indoors or dusk where built-in flashes have historically struggled to reach far-away subjects and capture all important details of a scene. Capture Camera Clip simplifies carrying of DSLRs

The Capture  Camera Clip System  from Peak Design was designed out of necessity to conquer the most common pain-points DSLR users have - lugging around their bulky, expensive camera.
The system allows photographers to carry their camera on their belt or on any strap from a backpack or camera bag.
Following years of research and product design, engineer-cum-inventor Peter Dering released Capture through Kickstarter, where it became the 4th most funded project to date.
